Thanks Jon for this really interesting podcast. I understand Anil’s concerns about standardization, but the situation described by Mr. Schneider of the Military (and others) creating ad hoc binary formats for each device is so ineffecient that it’s hard to see a downside to this idea. Maybe the gripe is really about the lack of efficiency in the standards process.
